Hatomugi Skin Cond Vs Albion Skin Conditioner Essential

Bye bye uncomfortable skin...
Hello Hatomugi Skin Cond Vs Albion Skin Conditioner

 VS

I know -I know.... there has been lots of rave on Hatomugi Skin Conditioner for a couple of years now. But hey, better now then never right? Don't worry, this post is not going to reiterate what everyone else have said... muahahaha... instead, we will be doing a comparison with Albion Skin Conditioner Essential because they both contain the same main ingredient (Job's Tears Extract) and OH MY... The huge price gap... (see my old post on Albion Skin Conditioner Essential)

Okay, since iwannabelenglui have used both the product above and havecompleted full bottles over months, I think it is time we did a comparison chart. Lengluis who have been plagued with acneic skin, please turn to hydrating your skin with either of these skin conditioner. I give both thumbs up for lengluis with problematic skin (since iwannabelenglui is so prone to breakouts).

If you are too lazy to read on, FINAL CONCLUSION = Hatomugi stays because it is budget friendly (LOL... see?? $$$ is a huge factor here!)

Coconut Oil for that Sexy Lenglui!

Oh Sexy Lengluis - to the ever sweet tropic coconut!

When we think of paradise on a sunny beachy day in the tropics.... the first image that pops to mind is "the coconut tree" Oooooooooooh... what a relaxing feeling....

But hey! We ARE in the tropics. Malaysia is a tropical paradise so... coconut oil is easily found everywhere. Now why all of a sudden the craze on coconut oil?? See the links below.... and most of all, it helps reduces belly fat!!! SERIOUSLY?!

  Myths Corrected

Coconut oil has long been a secret to beautiful skin, beautiful hair, beautiful body -- if you are not turned off by the smell... Honestly, the smell is OK (except for cooking certain meals). On your hair, believe it or not, the fragrance is quite sweet and light. Tried and tested by iwannabelenglui. And by this we mean "Virgin Coldpressed and Unrefined Coconut Oil"

Coconut oil has small molecular structure so it easily absorbs into our skin. So forget all that myths on getting greasy skin when applied onto our bodies. Tried and tested by iwannabelenglui --> PASSED OK

Coconut oil is great when used in cooking. And it is one of the best oils to use for cooking because it can withstand high temperatures and still retain all that goodness in the oil. "The fat in coconut oil is largely made up of medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA). Unlike other saturated fats, MCFA doesn't heighten cholesterol and it can help to protect against heart disease." --> Okay, for this, we are not too sure because it's still an oil and we would NOT go all crazy and ingest huge amount of it all of a sudden in the name of beauty... wahhahahahaha....

Conclusion
  • Great as hair serum in small amounts (use Extra Virgin Coldpressed Coconut Oil so the fragrance is less intimidating and smells umm... almost delicious)
  • Great as a skin moisturiser 'cos its not as greasy as you'd think... absorbs into skin pretty quick too!
  • Great when used to fry your morning eggs --> you would get that tropical breakfast taste to it
  • Great as a heel moisturiser... TRIED and TESTED
  • Wanna feel like a lenglui wahine? Coconut oil baby!!

Panasonic Facial Roller Eh-SP30 Vs Refa Pro/Carat Platinum Electronic Roller

Oh the damned many choices of Facial Rollers!!

Remember iwannabelenglui's recent post on PANASONIC Esthetic Facial Roller EH-SP30? And yes, before putting that as one of her wishlist item, there was that consideration on the the Refa Pro/Carat Platinum Electronic Roller that promises almost the same result of the Panasonic roller.

Just do a little Google and that's it.... we're SOLD! muahahahahhaa... Oh well..

The differences:
  • The Brand
  • The physics and scientific theory behind them: "How it works?"
  • The PRICE - Refa rollers costs a whopping RM1.2k
  • The publicity and popularity
  • The usage - Refa's multi-functioned
Before the Refa roller goes on iwananbelenglui's the wishlist item for 2013, lets do some reality check, more research, have some patience and drool over the pics above and below... LOL.... Heck, a pricier tool does not mean a better tool...

Pesky body hair is BACK!! Hello Panasonic ES-WD94 Epilator!!

ES-WD94 Panasonic WET/DRY Epilator

As expected, hormonal changes will bring back hair... (post LHE hair removal treatment).. So what now? It's not like sugar_cupcakes is turning into an ape or something... But, we're getting one or two strands popping out in certain areas (that was supposedly smooth) and they are seriously sprouting back out like nobodies business!!! Okiess... I'll just be honest here. The underarms and bikini-line... Ugghhh... the worse place to start...

Options to consider:
  1. Getting zap again in those spots - But they are just too miniscule areas to justify having to get laser or LHE... arrghhh
  2. Getting waxed?? -  so much pain for that teeny spots? nooooooooooooo....
  3. Get one of those DIY at home LHE kits - Seriously, the price does not justify the means
  4. Get a good-quick-painless (well I wish), epilator - Say hello to the pretty in pink Panasonic ES-WD94 Epilator

Conclusion:
  • Wow... it's like a cool little gadget where you can switch the head (6 Attachments - 2 Epilation Heads, 1 Shaver Head, 1 Foot Care Head, 1 Bikini Comb and 2 Beginner Caps)
  • Easy to clean and maintain (we asked Uncle Google for reviews beforehand)
  • They have this cool bright LED which shines on the areas you're working on so you know exactly what you are removing! lol...
  • Obviously not pain-free (but definitely better than my Braun Silk Epilator which is YEOWCH)
  • Cool 'cos you can use it in the shower as well with soap lather!
  • Guess what...? the bikini epilator head works even for your mini moustache... muahahahaha... but umm... definitely not pain-free!
  • The foot care head is just neat!
  • Uh-huh...Now this post sounds like an advert.... but...
  • sugar_cupcakes love it 'cos hey... for RM300++ we can skip those saloon treatments and move on with LIFE!
